The Garden Edition brings together the complete 10-track rock opera, The Crow’s Little Kingdom, and the three-track EP, The Fox at the Edge of the Garden: Three Postludes. Thirteen tracks. Approximately 1 hour and 17 minutes. A little more time on the other side of the gate.
Inside a decaying kingdom of gardens, woods and half-kept promises, Crow and Fawn begin in seemingly familiar roles. One leaves. One waits. One controls the distance. One keeps the lamp burning.
Then the roles begin to move.
The pursuer becomes the pursued. Patience curdles into resentment. Tenderness survives beside cruelty. Words return with different meanings, and the line between the creature who wounds and the creature who waits becomes harder to hold.
Built around recurring characters, images and musical motifs, the opera unfolds as a continuous theatrical narrative. Promises become accusations. Antlers and wings begin casting the same shadow. The Three Postludes extend the work beyond its original ending, while additional visual material carries the Kingdom further into the garden.
